Jesse and Paige Vickers — tattoo artist and wife portrait in Grand Blanc Michigan

Artist. Husband. Father. Obsessed since day one.

Jesse picked up a machine at 19 and never looked back. What started as an apprenticeship became an obsession with permanence — the idea that art could live on a person, travel with them, tell their story without a single word.

Today, he's a father to Liam, Jude, Luca, Indy, and Stone. A husband to Paige. And the most booked tattoo artist in the country. The passion that drove him on day one is the same passion that drives him today — create something worth carrying forever.

The Space

A Private Space for Art

This isn't a walk-in shop. Jesse's studio is a private space built for focus — polished concrete, gallery walls, natural light, and the quiet concentration that permanent art demands.

Begin Your Piece

Before you sit in the chair.

Do you take walk-ins?

No — Jesse works by consultation and appointment only. The studio is a private art space in Grand Blanc, not a walk-in shop. Every piece begins with a conversation about what you want to carry.

How do I book a tattoo with Jesse Vickers?

Text Paige at (810) 423-1867 — she manages all scheduling and client communication. You can also start with the online consultation and we'll have a brief ready for Jesse and Paige before you ever reach out.

How does the online consultation work?

It's a short guided conversation — your idea and what it means to you, placement, size, and any reference photos. It takes a few minutes, available any time, and it turns your vision into a brief Jesse and Paige review before booking.

What styles does Jesse specialize in?

Large-scale custom work: realism, black and grey, color realism, portraits, and cover-ups. Every piece is designed one-of-a-kind for the person wearing it — Jesse doesn't repeat designs.

Where is the studio located?

2383 E. Hill Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan — a private studio serving clients across Genesee County and greater Michigan, from Fenton and Flint to Ann Arbor and Detroit.

How should I prepare for a tattoo appointment?

Drink a gallon of water the day before, moisturize the area leading up to your appointment, eat a solid meal beforehand, and bring snacks. Jesse also recommends 1000mg of vitamin C for a few days prior — skip it if you have a history of kidney stones.

How do I take care of a new tattoo?

Wash it three to four times a day, let it air dry — never towel dry — then apply a thin layer of ointment. Repeat for ten days. Stay out of gyms, lakes, pools, and hot tubs while healing. Peeling is normal; scabbing usually means you're over-applying ointment.

How much does a custom tattoo cost?

Every piece is quoted individually — size, placement, and level of detail all factor in. Jesse doesn't quote prices online. Reach out to Paige at (810) 423-1867 and she'll walk you through it.
